If you are looking to join a military history forum and there are a few out there, then the Broadsword Military History Forum is a good place to be. Founded by like minded people who have a passion for collecting all sorts of military history and sharing these on the forum there are at present 292 members (March 2018) who have contributed 17794 posts on various items from Headgear to Medals, Uniforms to Flags plus a whole load of experiences visiting battlefields and memorials. I’ve been a member now for 3 years and I regularly contribute to the forum especially on things US military. However if your passion is German, British, French, Japanese or World War 1 or 2 there are subject sections that cover these and more.
Got a passion for things Roman, Greek and Viking that’s there also along with Books and Media and the guys are always open to ideas and are a friendly welcoming group. I’m now a moderator for the “USA-WW2” section and felt highly honoured to be asked to do this.
